The Photographer

Hello.

My name is Daniel and I am a photographer.

My passion for photography began in 2006 when my wife and I returned from a trip to Northern California. I had taken several photos of the landscape on my little point and shoot camera and was excited to see them when we returned. I thought they were magnificent until I started comparing them to others that I had seen online. Make no mistake they were good but they were lacking a certain quality. You know the quality I'm talking about. The kind that when you see a photograph, whether it be a landscape, a portrait of a newborn, or a photo of a beautiful bride you stop and say to yourself (or out loud) "Wow!".

So I started a quest to find out how these photographs were taken. I quickly learned that there are numerous factors that go into taking an exceptional photograph. Far too many to list here and I am always learning and keeping my eyes open for new and interesting techniques.

Please take a tour of my site and if you are interested in what I do, drop me a line and lets work something out.

Random Thought

I have a lot of projects going on around the house lately and I’m trying to get a promotion at my day job.  All while maintaining a successful wedding photography business.  So when I found this quote I had to make good use of it.  I hope you enjoy it.

Steps

The hardest part of any journey is taking that first step.
