It’s really no secret that I’m not much of a writer. But I wanted to write something special for this one. So here’s to hoping it makes a little sense!
I hinted at this wedding a while back . I remember when Stephonie first contacted me as I was in shock and to be honest I thought it was a cruel joke from one of my friends. I mean, come on, Tahiti? Me? WHAT!?! Never did I imagine that my path as a wedding photographer in Omaha would lead me to the other side of the planet to shoot a wedding. It took a while before the reality of it set in. To be honest it didn’t feel real until I was boarding a plane to Tahiti. When I arrived, I’m not sure an entire family has ever made me feel more welcome as an outsider than Curtis and Steph’s family. I am humbled.
I hope these photos can give just a slice of justice of how amazing this whole experience was.
Day 1
We just hung out and visited a local pineapple plantation.

Day 2
Two ceremonies. One at the courthouse and the other on the beach.

Day 3
A small ceremony at the local church followed by a huge meal that was cooked in the ground!
