The Photographer

Hello.

My name is Daniel and I am a photographer.

My passion for photography began in 2006 when my wife and I returned from a trip to Northern California. I had taken several photos of the landscape on my little point and shoot camera and was excited to see them when we returned. I thought they were magnificent until I started comparing them to others that I had seen online. Make no mistake they were good but they were lacking a certain quality. You know the quality I'm talking about. The kind that when you see a photograph, whether it be a landscape, a portrait of a newborn, or a photo of a beautiful bride you stop and say to yourself (or out loud) "Wow!".

So I started a quest to find out how these photographs were taken. I quickly learned that there are numerous factors that go into taking an exceptional photograph. Far too many to list here and I am always learning and keeping my eyes open for new and interesting techniques.

Prices

Weddings:

I currently offer one package for weddings and that is *ALL DAY coverage for $1195.  This includes an image DVD with high resolution retouched photos and a complimentary engagement session at a location of your choice!  I also offer printing and specialty items.  Please contact me for more details.

Portraits:

Portrait sessions are $185.   Up to 3 people and  include a disc of high resolution retouched photos to print as you wish and medium (web ready) images to share with your family and friends on facebook or myspace.  More than 3 people will be $50 added for every person over that amount.   I offer printing and specialty items with portrait sessions too.  Please contact me for more details.

High School Seniors:

Senior sessions are $245.  This includes up to 4 outfit changes, high resolution retouched images and medium (web ready) images to share with your family and friends on facebook or myspace on a disc.    As always, I offer printing and specialty items with high school senior sessions too. Events:

Events other than weddings are charged on a case by case basis.  I need more details about the event to be able to give an accurate quote.  Please contact me for more details.


Why do I offer discs of images for clients?

We live in a digital age where just about everyone is online in some way or another.  When people have their pictures taken they like to share them with friends and family.  By offering your session on a disc this allows you to do just that and it also allows you to get prints at your convenience for years to come.

If I offer discs why do I offer prints as well?

Simple, I like to give my clients the extra option.   I do believe that the quality of prints I provide is superior to what one might get from Walmart or Walgreens but that is up to the client to decide.
